We have a one-year window—beginning June 1, 2025, and ending June 1, 2026—to secure 1,000 pre-commitments for our specialty license plate. This process is done through the official Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles website. The tag will not go into production until the 1,000 commitment threshold is met.
Important Note: Reserving this tag does not affect your current registration or renewal. There is no need to wait until your renewal date—you can reserve the tag at any time.
This specialty plate is available to the general public, not just law enforcement personnel.
1 Click HERE to access the DMV site.
2 Select “Reserve a Pre-Commitment Plate”.
3 Choose our tag.
4 Click the green arrow at the bottom to finalize your reservation.

If we reach 1,000 reservations, $50,000 in funds will be generated. Depending on the cost of training, this could provide hundreds of Alabama first responders with access to advanced critical incident response courses in the coming years.
In just the past 18 months, we’ve hosted two fundraisers and already invested $20,000 into high-level training, with more classes actively filling. The specialty tag—if successful—has the potential to become a statewide catalyst for better preparedness and response capabilities across Alabama.
In recent years, many have recognized the need for more training in law enforcement. We couldn’t agree more.
Everyone who reserves the tag receives free entry to our annual 5.56K race held each March. Simply send a screenshot of your tag confirmation to our official Facebook page, and we’ll reply with your promo code and raffle ticket number.
